Have you ever had a dream—The kind that occupies your thoughts and fills your belly with butterflies when you explain it to others? If yes, then you understand what a powerful force a dream can be.
Despite the undeniable thrill of big-city living, we’ve been harbouring a vision for a life less hurried. “What if we slowed life down, breathed more deeply, become more present moment by moment?” The thought of devoting time towards worthwhile projects, and ending each day filled with a feeling of satisfaction… well it was spellbinding to say the least. This year we’re making our vision come true, and we’ve been waiting for the right time to tell you all about it!
My husband and I, along with two of our best friends, have moved to beautiful Prince Edward County, Ontario to open a Bed & Breakfast. If you haven’t had the pleasure of visiting ‘The County’, mark it in your list of places to go; with award winning wines, farm-to-table food, and stunning beaches, PEC is a getaway dream! We’ve named our new venture, ‘The Edward’, and will be accepting our first guests as of May 1st (So excited… So so nervous).
The past six months have been filled with careful planning, moving logistics, and home renovations, which might explain why you haven’t heard from me in a while! I wish I could say we spend our days sampling our breakfast menu, but the truth is we’ve been working tirelessly to make The Edward everything we dreamed it would be.
